Delete your Midnight Tour account
In the app: open Profile → Delete account and confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.
Without the app: send an e-mail from the address of your account to [OWNER: privacy e-mail] with the subject "Delete my Midnight Tour account". We will confirm and delete the account within [OWNER: e.g. 7] days. If you write from another address we may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
What is deleted
- Your account (e-mail address, password hash, sign-in sessions)
- Your profile and settings (language, units, navigation app)
- Your saved routes
- The photos you added to photo spots (the files and the records about them), approved or not
- Any team role you had, and any pending team invitation for your e-mail address
- Your e-mail address in the team audit trail
What is kept
- If you curated routes: the editorial history of those routes (status changes and notes) is kept so the catalog stays accountable, but your identity is removed from it.
- If you were on the curation team: the team audit trail keeps its entries about role changes and invitations, without your e-mail address or account.
- Security logs and backups held by our hosting provider expire on their normal schedule ([OWNER: retention period]).
- Published route information is not personal data and is not affected.
On your phone, the session and offline route copies are removed when the app signs you out after deletion. App settings (language, units, navigation app) stay on the phone, without any link to the deleted account, until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
